Borderline crowd maps
Where players think countries are
Five maps from Borderline, the daily globe game. Each dot is one player's first tap when the daily asked them to find that country on a blank globe.
Each map takes every player's first tap when the daily puzzle asked for that country, counted once per player, over the dates given on each map's page, not counting 18-22 Oct. The game hands back the first tap in open water for free, so the map counts the tap after it. First taps in the player's own country do not count when it was not the one asked for. Every counted tap is drawn. Each page sets out the details and the numbers.
These are people who chose to play a geography game, not a survey of the population.
